Moving production the China has cost the company it's reputation for being the #1 quality rain gear.
The quality is very poor comapared to the same product manufactured 5 years ago.

I preferred the older model because it had an ouside vertical chest pocket for your score card or cell phone on non golf outings. Unfortunately, I lost it and replaced it with this one, which is still far better than any other rain jacket. The double zipper is the best feature and should be on all rain jackets.

Jacket is great. Very comfortable and surprisingly warm. I have used on several rainy days and it worked perfectly.... kept me completely dry. The sleeve snaps keeps sleeves from getting in way. Had a pretty decent DryJoy rain jacket and in heavy rain, it never kept me completely dry - this one does...... A bit pricey but I decided to go with quality and would say it's worth it - if you can afford the extra cost.

Very well made. I've used this jacket golfing here in the Northwest this winter in snow, sleet, and driving rain and managed to stay dry and warm (with a layer of fleece and some Underarmor on beneath this jacket). The sleeve and back panel construction make the jacket totally unencumbering - even with the extra layers I added for warmth. A bit pricey but, all told, worth the expense.

It IS whisper quiet and does not interfere with swing at all. Lightweight and totally wind resistant. I was comfortable and completely dry with only a polo shirt and this jacket on a blustery 45 degree rainy day. Superior craftsmanship. A jacket for a lifetime!

I have used Foot Joy rain wear in the past. The Whisper Soft Zero Restriction was by far a more superior product. I never felt wet or clammy. Comfort was a plus.
